This week’s coverage was dominated by the Future Circular Collider (FCC) project, following its inclusion in the European Strategy for Particle Physics update at the CERN Council meeting in Budapest. International media continued to report on this story. CERN’s scientific updates also attracted significant media attention. The Spanish El Debate reported on the ATLAS discovery of a new subatomic particle with an extremely short lifetime, the Bc*+ meson. Meanwhile, the Italian ANSA covered the new precision measurements of a fundamental property of antihydrogen, carried out by the ALPHA experiment, highlighting the progress made at CERN in this fundamental research area
