Please find below the media monitoring report covering the period from 3 to 9 August. These press cuttings have been selected from 898 results identified by our media monitoring system.

The FCC drew coverage in two countries following the recent media visits. RTS, Swiss public broadcaster, covered the lake investigations on both television and radio. Deutschlandfunk, German national public radio, broadcast an interview with Frank Zimmermann on the project.

On the physics side, Tech Times covered ATLAS’ observation of two longitudinally polarised Z bosons in a single collision, a result presented at a CERN seminar and at ICHEP 2026 in Brazil. Hindustan Times published an article on the antimatter transport, following a group visit of journalists from India to CERN.

Finally, The Telegraph published an obituary of François Englert, after the sad news we received in June.
