- On the 8th of March we decided to celebrate our 2022 milestones by sharing them with our community at the "WIT Community Annual Review 2022"

- One of the co-founders of "WIT" network at CERN, Hannah Short, gave an interview for the GÉANT 2023 #WomeninSTEM campaign.

Upcoming Events:

Applications are still welcome for the 12th Thematic CERN School of Computing (tCSC 2023) which takes place on June 11-17 2023.
The programme will focus on the theme of Scientific Software for Heterogeneous Architectures, covering areas such as
- Computer Architectures
- Parallel and Optimized Scientific Software
- Heterogeneous Programming (CPU, GPU, HPC etc.).
This school is organized by CERN in collaboration with the University of Split. The school will take place in Split, Croatia, and be hosted at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MEDILS) Conference Centre. The Centre is a historical renovated building situated in a wooded and landscaped park located on the Adriatic Sea coast, a few kilometers from the centre of Split.

Django Girls is returning to CERN on 21 and 22 April 2023!
To celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day, CERN will organise another in-person edition of Django Girls. This programming workshop for girls and women aged 15 and over will take place on the evening of Friday, 21 April 2023 and all day on Saturday, 22 April 2023. With coaching by CERN tutors, the participants will learn how to create a blog and launch it online. Django Girls will be held at IdeaSquare, in English and French.
This year again we will be looking for volunteer coaches to lead the workshop. The registration for volunteering is already open!
