CERN in the media from 15/05/2023 to 21/05/2023

Published on May 26, 2023

 Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 15 to 21 May 2023. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 880 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Last week, Fabiola Gianotti received the prize ISPI 2022 jointly with Samantha Christofetti. At this occasion she was interviewed by RAI1 (you can watch the interview here). Her statement for “education for all, against inequalities” was also covered by Italian media.

The 30 years anniversary of the World Wide Web is still well covered, mostly amongst US, Spanish and Italian media.

Other mentions include an explanation of the weak nuclear force, the renewal of the agreement between the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Uerj) and CERN, and Istinye University (ISU) becoming an official collaboration member of the ATLAS Experiment.

We wish you a very nice week!

Kind regards,

The Press Team
