CERN in the media from 07/08/2023 to 13/08/2023

Published on August 16, 2023

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 7 to 13 August 2023. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 840 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Most of last week coverage mentioning CERN was related to the discovery of a new room-temperature superconductor LK-99 and the last results published by Muon g-2 collaboration.

Other mentions include CERN astronaut Sławosz Uznański in Polish media, Pakistani team winning CERN's BL4S contest, the scientific cooperation agreement between CERN and Brazil and a report on the Australian radio ABC about the LHC, triggered by the movie Oppenheimer.

We wish you a very nice week!

Kind regards,

The Press Team
