Third Collisions Networking: Professional skills development

In February 2024 the CERN Alumni community will come together for the Third Collisions event, an eagerly awaited gathering of brilliant minds from a variety of disciplines. Along with keynote talks, panel discussions and a jobs fair, there will be ample opportunity to network with other community members. In addition, two alumni will also be hosting a "world cafe" style networking session on professional skills development.

Join Giordano Cattani and Giovanna Campogiani on Sunday 11 February 2024, from 08:15 - 09:30 am in the R1 extension.

🔍 **Identifying the hights of success and depths of failure:**

 1️⃣ **Table 1: "Triumphs and Talents"**

   - Share the main skills that have fuelled your success.

   - Engage in 30 minutes of stimulating discussions and learn from the diverse experiences of fellow participants.

   - Rotate to Table 2 for a fresh perspective.

 2️⃣ **Table 2: "Lessons from Setbacks"**

   - Reflect on challenges you have encountered in your career.

   - Explore strategies for overcoming setbacks with a dynamic group.

   - After 30 minutes, switch to Table 1 for a new perspective on success.

 🔄 **Dynamic Rotation:**

   - A unique opportunity to exchange insights at both tables.

   - Broaden your horizons, grow your network and gain valuable perspectives from fellow professionals.

The number of places for this networking session is limited to 20 people max, please book your place in advance. You can do so by going back to your Third Collisions registration form and ticking the box under ''Professional skills development session facilitated by CERN alumni".
