Third Collisions Panel: Moving Forward: The Evolving Ecosystem of Electric and Hydrogen Mobility
The Third Collisions event is gearing up for an insightful panel discussion featuring CERN alumni speakers with pivotal roles in shaping the future of mobility.
Fanny Cacherat, Total Energies' Hydrogen Business Developer for France, representing the Hydrogen Mobility Solutions Worldwide Business Unit, and Michal Elias, the CEO of ADVANTICS SAS, specialising in the development and production of cutting-edge Power Electronics and Control Systems for Electric Vehicles, will take the stage. Moderating the discussion will be Mar Capeans, the Department Head of 'Site and Civil Engineering' at CERN.
The panel will address the misconception of competing solutions, emphasising the complementary nature of hydrogen (for long-haul) and electric mobility (for urban settings). Entrepreneurship versus Corporate views will be discussed, exploring flexibility and the power of partnerships.
Renewable energy and grid constraints will also be explored, offering insights into trends and solutions in both hydrogen and electric mobility. The discussion will extend to international and national contexts, examining projects and legislative influences. Mar will share challenges faced by CERN in deploying on-site charging infrastructure and the conversation will also touch on technology spin-offs beyond mobility solutions.
As the Third Collisions event approaches, this panel promises to provide a comprehensive exploration of the evolving landscape of electric and hydrogen mobility, offering valuable insights into sustainability, innovation, and the collaborative efforts shaping the future of transportation.
