This week, we would like to place our spotlight on our colleagues from the CERN Women In Technology Group, some of them now CERN Alumni and members of the network.
If you left before 2016,  WIT did not exist and was definitely missing in CERN’s overall diverse environment.  What they have achieved is just amazing and WIT@CERN offer a forum for exchanging ideas on common topics, sharing career advice and experiences. You,  CERN Alumni,  may also benefit from this initiative or spread it further wherever you are in the world.
Have a look at the WIT web site  and subscribe to the WIT community egroup, to receive their now famous Friday Links, a selection of interesting links from the week's news and research concerning women in STEM subjects. Some serious, some light-hearted, always interesting and definitely thought-provoking.

Rachel, the CERN Alumni Community Manager,  and Orestis, our Support and  Communication officer are at in Riga (Latvia) , attending and contributing to the ICARe Alumni Conference 2019 , to keep abreast of best practices in alumni relations and give you the best possible support. Also from Riga they eagerly await your messages  of support to celebrate the 2nd year of existence of the CERN Alumni Network.
