WIT activities

Join us to the next WIT lunch that takes place on Tuesday 23 April at 12h in R1. Look for the WIT logo - we will also post our exact location on Mattermost https://mattermost.web.cern.ch/wit/channels/town-square when we arrive. Depending on the weather we might be able to have lunch in the open-air!

Yesterday we enjoyed a visit to the Large Magnet Facility, where we saw the LHC superconducting magnet assembly hall.  Thanks to our guides, Penelope and Carmen, for a fun and informative event!

If you would like to organise a WIT visit to your lab, contact us: [email protected]

The LHC Early Careers Mentoring Committee and the Women in Technology@CERN have teamed up to launch a new mentoring program this year- Mentoring@CERN. Inspired by shared vision, we are combining forces to merge the programs, uniting our strengths to provide mentorship opportunities to the CERN community.

Registrations are open until 15 May, and everyone who has a contract with CERN (whether as a student, fellow, USER, PART, external contractor…) is welcome to apply: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1403179/

For more information, we invite you to take part in the Information Session next Thursday, 25 April at 12:30: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1403801/ or to contact us at [email protected]

Participate! WIT is organising a roundtable discussion focused on maternity leave at CERN.
