Women In Technology - Friday Links - 17/05/2024
Hello everybody,
here is our selection of Friday links.
WIT activities
Registrations are open for the WIT Maternity roundtable which takes place on 4 June 2024 from 12:15 to 13:30
For further information please consult the dedicated Indico event page:
https://indico.cern.ch/event/1416659/ and register!
As maternity leave is a phase with sometimes significant impact in one’s professional life, the aim of this discussion will be to:
- understand the policies,
- exchange on our experience regarding the preparation, duration and return from the leave, and
- consider proposing potential improvements to policies, to take into account different circumstances.
Regarding the logistics, the session will begin with an overview from an HR expert, followed by personal experiences shared by three colleagues, and conclude with a Q&A session. You are also very welcome to join us for lunch afterwards!
