CERN Alumni Weekly News | CERN Alumni Network on LemanBlue TV, Eindhoven and Copenhagen meet-ups, CERN Public Event, Argusa Data School

Published on June 24, 2024

This week, the CERN Alumni Network was featured on LemanBleu TV, showcasing how maintaining strong connections with former employees transforms them into enthusiastic ambassadors, extending the organisation's positive influence. Discover a link to the clip here: https://alumni.cern/news/2044899

As well as group launches in Copenhagen (28 June: https://alumni.cern/events/149026) and Eindhoven (27 June: https://alumni.cern/events/147053), the Milan-Turin group has an exciting meet-up on 24 July. A limited number of alumni will enjoy a free guided tour of the Human Technopole laboratories, led by Mr. Paolo Swuec, Head of the National Facility of Structural Biology. A researcher will also guide participants through labs dedicated to imaging, cryo electron-microscopy, and other cutting-edge science and technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a lab focused on interdisciplinary research. Register here: https://alumni.cern/networks/150392

We are excited to announce the relaunch of the CERN Alumni New York group and are seeking two dynamic and dedicated group managers to co-lead this initiative. If you are passionate about fostering connections and driving community engagement among CERN alumni in the New York area, we invite you to contact us ([email protected]) to find out more.

Join us on 4 July for the sixth and final public event in the series celebrating CERN's 70th anniversary where we will explore the future of particle physics and the cutting-edge instruments set to revolutionise our understanding of the Universe’s most profound mysteries. https://alumni.cern/events/149730

There are still some places left for members of the network who wish to take part in the Argusa Data School course: https://alumni.cern/events/146840
