CERN Alumni Weekly News | CERN Alumni in Milan-Turin meet-up, exhibition in Poland, CERN community event, 12th anniversary of the Higgs boson discovery
In 2021, after years of software engineering in both the private sector and academia, CERN alumnus Peter Schmidt launched his podcast "Code for Thought" to connect with researchers who code and the growing community of research software engineers. During the recent Third Collisions event, Peter had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing several brilliant minds at CERN and the first released interview features Spyridon Trigazis, discussing his significant contributions to deploying OpenStack and Kubernetes at CERN.
