CERN in the media from 16/09/2024 to 28/09/2024

Published on October 4, 2024

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 16 to 28 September 2024. These press cuttings have been selected from 2018 results identified by our media system.

The two press releases about the last results of the measurement of the W mass and the observation of the quantum entanglement at the highest energy as well as the NA62 experiment results on ultra-rare particle decay have been widely covered by media over the last two weeks as well .

Following a media visit, an article from The Telegraph covered the topic of particle physics involvement in the Flash therapy development.

Other mentions are reporting CERN70 celebration across the globe and the election of the new President of the Council, Costas Fountas.

We wish you a happy end of the week!

Best regards,

The Press Team
