Le Dauphiné Libéré has published an article about the visit of the President of the Region, Fabrice Pannekoucke, to CERN.
Jeffrey Scott Hangst received a Honoris Causa degree from the University of Brescia for his work on antimatter and Salvatore Mele was awarded as well the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Andres Bello University for his contribution to the dissemination of knowledge worldwide and particularly in Latin America.
The FCC was covered on several angles with the partnership with the University of Tehran joining the project and finally with the launch on 17 January, by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and the Federal Office for Spatial Development (ARE), of the consultation and participation procedures concerning the CERN sectoral plan which presents the development of future facilities of CERN.
