WIT activities
 
The WIT Cake sale on 11th of February to celebrate the International Day for Women and Girls in Sciencehas been a great success. Many of you have come to taste the cakes that our volunteers had prepared and we managed to raise more than 1000 CHF for Aid for All. https://www.aidforall.ch/india

Have you heard about our mentoring programme?
Last year, 90% of participants were very satisfied or satisfied with Mentoring@CERN, and 84% appreciated the organiser-led matching. It delivered real impact, with 67% achieving their goals (12% partially), and 55% planning to continue their mentoring relationships.

Workshop, Conferences, Events and others
 
Many other events have been organised at CERN and outside CERN to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
 
 
to list just a few of them.
 
The CERN Diversity and Inclusion Programme has made a campaign this week with booths in R1, R2, R3 showcasing the 25by’25 results and introducing the DIOs (Diversity and Inclusion Officers) of different departments. The D&I lanyards and card reels have been distributed.

Two weeks remaining ‘til the closing date to for the new D&I Officer role (Origin Grad) in the CERN D&I office.
Target audience: early career professional // max 2 years of work experience beyond the last degree (undergrad or master’s). Looking for someone ready to help with communication, in-house presentations, excel reports, admin support, and a genuine interest in an inclusive work environment.
