CERN in the media from 31/03/2025 to 06/04/2025

Published on April 9, 2025

 Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 31 March to 6 April 2025. These press cuttings have been selected from 2545 results identified by our media system.

In the frame of the FCC FS final report, Fabiola Gianotti gave two exclusive interviews, to the Swiss national TV and radio RTS/RSI, and to the French news agency AFP.

Following the media update and press briefing of the FCC feasibility report, the topic received extensive coverage both in international and local media, including La Tribune de GenèveSRFThe Times and Le Dauphiné libéré.

The Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, awarded to CERN on 5 April at the 11th Breakthrough Prize Gala in Los Angeles, also received wide media attention.

Additionally, coverage continues for several CERN experiments: the LHCb result on the fundamental asymmetry in the behaviour of baryons, the AEgIS announcement on transforming smartphone sensors into an antimatter camera and the recent news from NA61 experiment.

We wish you all a great week!

Best regards,

The Press Team
