Media interest in the FCC Feasibility Study continues. The announcement of CERN receiving Top Honors in the 2025 EPS Awards also received coverage, notably the Beamline for Schools project winning the EPS-HEPP Outreach Prize. Additionally, 30 April marked the anniversary of CERN releasing the World Wide Web software into the public domain in 1993.
Slovenia’s ratification of full CERN membership and Chile’s status as an Associate Member State were also in the news.
Other mentions include ALICE’s hyperhelium-4 result (published in October 2024), and the AEgIS experiment’s findings (published on 2 April).
