The results are in for the CERN Alumni Virtual Relay Race 2025! On 14 May, while CERN staff hit the track on-site, alumni around the globe laced up and joined the virtual race. Now in its fourth edition, the event brought together 16 teams—our highest turnout yet—with participants spanning Brazil to China, Zambia to Canada. The top spot went once again to the Medaustronauts, winning for the third consecutive year. Many thanks to all teams for your energy, creativity, and participation. The CERN Alumni Escape Game, organised by the 2024 CERN Summer Students, was a fantastic success. Participants teamed up virtually on 10 May to solve interactive challenges in a 50-minute online escape room. CERN is hosting a public information session about the Future Circular Collider (FCC) feasibility study. This session, in French, will present the results of the multi-year study on the physics, infrastructure, environmental and socio-economic considerations of the proposed 91 km collider.
