CERN in the media from 26/05/2025 to 01/06/2025

Published on June 6, 2025

 Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report for the period from 26 May to 1 June 2025. These press cuttings have been selected from 1426 results identified by our media monitoring system.

Coverage continued to focus on ALICE turning lead into gold.  There was also interest in the upcoming plans to transport antimatter, as well as the use of AI to investigate the Higgs boson. FCC also continued to feature in media coverage.

The Government of Canada announced the Statement of Intent between Canada and CERN last week, and therefore the topic was widely covered.

In addition, María Teresa Dova, a former physicist at CERN, won the 2025 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Award.

Best regards,

The Press Team
