Women In Technology - Friday Links - 17/10/2025
Hello everybody,
Here is our selection of Friday links.
WIT Activities
As part of the WIT community's photo book project, which aims to portray women working at CERN and explore the evolving representation of women in STEM, a collaborative workshop was held last Friday, 10 October 2025, to focus on the future. The workshop brought together 30 participants from across CERN and featured highly engaged and active discussions. Together, participants explored questions such as: What might it look like to be a woman in STEM in the future? How can we influence that vision? Are girls being encouraged enough to pursue STEM careers? What role do policy, social media, and AI play in shaping this future?
The insights and key takeaways from the workshop will contribute to the photo book, which will feature stories and images of women at CERN—past, present, and envisioned future.
