With just under two thousand five hundred members signed up to the CERN Alumni Network since its launch in June 2017 we should like to thank you all for your enthusiasm and the trust you place in both the Network and the Office of Alumni Relations. Setting up the network has been a truly collaborative effort with valuable contributions from plenty of other CERN Services with whom we shared the same vision.
As we look towards 2018, our hope is to not only to build on the solid foundations we have established this year by growing the network (please spread the word amongst your ex CERN contacts) but also to provide you with opportunities to interact with each other, provide professional advice and share professional experiences to the benefit of all. We’d therefore like to request that you take a few moments to check your profile on http://alumni.cern and update this information.
Additionally in the new year, we will be focussing our attention on establishing and extending relations with companies who are on the look-out for the skills and talents which are developed at CERN so as to make more exclusive career opportunities available for our members.
In conjunction we will also be planning impactful events, starting with the ‘First Collisions’ event for which there are still a few places available, so please go ahead and register if you have not done so yet: https://indico.cern.ch/e/AlumniFirstCollisions
December being the month of giving, we have also prepared a downloadable gift for every one of you, which you can download at : https://alumni.cern/custom_page/des-objets-uniques
Finally, we, the CERN Office of Alumni Relations, should like take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones season’s greetings and the very best for 2018! https://youtu.be/oEcpDSTAd6U
