Dear all,
Please find below the media monitoring report from 19 to 25 October, 2020. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 706 articles identified by our media monitoring system.
An article mentions Fabiola's participation to an Italian festival about how to face post covid-19 world.
A few outlets published articles about the media update on the ATLAS and CMS dimuon result. Local newspaper, Le Pays Gessien, released the interview of Patrick Geeraert about Science Gateway organised last week by the Press Office. The discovery of a lost Raphael painting with CERN Timepix technology was also picked up again.
Other mentions include the study of meson B decay by LHCb experiment, Gatoroid machine developed by CERN and EPFL to treat tumours, and an interview of Farrah Simpson, high energy physicist at CMS participation in “Black voices in physics” series of Physics Today.
Other news pieces mention Lucio Rossi participating in a Science Festival in Italy, black holes as potential particles accelerators, an in depth article about how to unify quantum and relativity theories, new experimental strategies for the search for dark matter and the AI tested at CERN and embarked onboard a new satellite.
We wish you a very nice weekend!
Kind regards,
The CERN Alumni Relations and Press Team
