CERN in the media from 7/12/2020 to 13/12/2020

Dec 18, 2020

Dear all,
Please find below the media monitoring report from 7 to 13 December 2020. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 641 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Several newspapers, both general and specialised, picked up the ALICE media update and the Open-Data policy press release published last week.
The Press Office also organised an interview for phys.org with two physicists about CMS results on massive gauge bosons. The paper was published last week.
Other mentions include an interview of Rebeca González Suárez, physicist in ATLAS; the attribution of an European Research Center grant to Lorenzo Bianchini, physicist in CMS; InsightART and the discovery of the Raphael painting; the LHC listed in the “almost invisible megaprojects that have changed our world”; Latvia about to become Associate Member State; the 7th edition of the Challenge-Based Innovation program and an interview of Paola Catapano in La Stampa.

We wish you a joyous holiday season and a most prosperous and healthy New Year!

Kind regards,
The CERN Alumni Relations and Press Team
