What is FLASH? CERN and Switzerland’s Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) collaborate to develop the conceptual design of an innovative radiotherapy facility that focuses on obtaining high-energy electrons for a frontier radiotherapy technique called the FLASH radiotherapy, a highly targeted form of cancer treatment, capable of reaching deep into the patient’s body with less side-effects than traditional radiotherapy. https://videos.cern.ch/record/2295068
