Of course during these days we can not miss Friday Links on Peace and importance of women in peace.

What’s missing in peace talks ?

The Female Quotient® on Instagram: “A war in any country could have GLOBAL consequences. Talks and negotiations need to be connected to realities on the ground and must…”

If you haven’t heard of The UN Women for Peace Association, here is their website for you:

Here there is a nice podcast from 4 years ago named No Women No Peace but we think still a valid one:

Here is a community from R programming ladies that can catch your attention:

A recent Washington post article still had to mention that housework isn’t just something women are expected to do at home.

Did you know Turkish is a gender-neutral language like most other Turkic languages ? Nouns have a generic form and this generic form is used for both males and females. For example, doktor (doctor), eczacı (pharmacist), mühendis (engineer) etc. Very few words for person reference contain a clue to the gender of the referred person, such as anne/baba "mother/father", kız/oğlan "girl/boy", hanım/bey "lady/sir". The third person singular pronoun "o" refers to "he", "she" and "it".

Finally, maybe we all need to try more being like Maria Ressa who won the Nobel peace Prize in 2021.

We wish you a super peaceful & fun weekend!
