CERN in the media from 11/04 to 17/04 2022

Published on April 21, 2022

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 11 to 17 April 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 892 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Last week's press release about Brazil becoming an Associate Member State of CERN was widely covered in international media and the LHCb result about antimatter and dark matter was widely covered, in particular, by Spanish media.

Following the media visit from Presence Switzerland arranged by the Press Office, Huffington Post Italy has published an article about CERN and the different possibilities to study or work here quoting Luca Bottura and Amalia Ballarino.

Other mentions include the measurement of W-boson's mass by Fermilab, the LHC restart, and the how Western sanctions on Russia affect science.

We wish you all a great week!

Best regards,

The Press Office
