CERN in the media from 02/05/2022 to 08/05/2022

Published on May 11, 2022

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 2 May to 8 May 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 765 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

The LHC restart remains high in the news. Le Dauphiné Libéré published an article with interviews organised by the Press Office with Jorg Wenninger and Stephanie Beauceron about the restart and Run 3 of the LHC.

The Dutch public service broadcaster, NTR, published a TV programme about CERN based on a visit to the CCC and ATLAS experiment organised by the Press Office.

Other mentions include: the CMS collaboration's new test of the seesaw model, which was covered by several science media; an article written by user at the ATLAS collaboration, Roger Jones, about why the standard model might be broken, which was published by British, Indian, American and German media; and an article about the history of the World Wide Web in Le Monde.

We wish you all a great week.

Kind regards, the Press Office.
