What memories do you have from the 4 July 2012 announcement of the discovery of the Higgs boson?
"On July 4th 2012 I was working at CERN as a technical student for 5 months already. I remember that on that day we were invited to a conference room for a presentation but the organizers did not let us know the topic of the presentation. Of course, the topic of the presentation was the recent confirmation of the Higgs boson."
What is your best memory of working at CERN?
"My best memory of working at CERN has been when I saw the component I designed being prepared to be assembled into CERN's accelerator complex."
What skills did you develop during your CERN work experience which have been particularly useful in your subsequent career trajectory?
"Mathematical modelling, simulations, data analysis, technical writing."
