Women In Technology - Friday Links - 01/07/2022
Hello all and have a great July.
Time flies and it is already first of July and I guess many of us started getting ready for summer vacations!
Did you know that today is the National Canada Day? So Happy Canada day!
If you would like to know more about their history, you can find more information here.

For this reason, I found the opportunity to celebrate also the contribution of Canadian women in science!
Here you can find some examples of Canadian Scientists:
Five Canadian Women trailblazers in science
Upcoming events:
CERN:
1. Even if we have managed, within the decades, to reduce the stereotypes and prejudices around race and gender, there are still some behaviors which are deeply rooted in our societies and affect science as well.
The Science journalist Angela Saini will talk about "Legacies of racism and sexism in science" on 7th of July.
2. Let's celebrate 10 years of HIGGS boson discovery!
Everyone would like to be able to join the symposium but unfortunately there are limited slots.
But we all have the chance to follow it through the webcast.
