CERN in the media from 08/08/2022 to 14/08/2022

Published on August 17, 2022

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 8 to 14 August 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 584 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

The interview of Fabiola that was published in Schweizer Illustrierte last month, has been translated and published in the French version of the magazine l'Illustré. Mike Lamont gave an interview about the Run 3 and future physics possibilities of the LHC for the magazine Innovation News Network.

Deutsche Welle published an article about dark matter featuring an interview with Tevong You following a visit organised by the Press Office. Representatives from the LHCb collaboration's suggestion for a new naming scheme of particles remains covered and Luciano Musa's participation in a conference at BUAP was covered in regional Mexican media.

Other mentions include an article about the creation of the web in the Chinese media Sina; CERN as a must-see science attraction in the Dutch media De Volkskrant; and, following a visit organised by the Press Office, a news clip about the scientific shows CERN organises for the public in the Swiss media 20 Minutes.

We wish you all a great week.

Kind regards, the Press Office.
