CERN in the media from 05/09/2022 to 11/09/2022

Published on September 14, 2022

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 5 to 11 September 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 1182 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Due to the geopolitical situation, some media contacted the press office to ask for more information about the impact of the energy crisis on CERN.

A TV crew from the media CGTN Europe came in April to record a reportage on antimatter. It has been released this summer and can be watched here. In June, the press office organised a visit for an Egyptian TV crew filming interviews with 4 Egyptian scientists working at CERN. The whole show has been released last week.

Other mentions this week include the LHC and the WWW listed in the most revolutionary inventions in the world; the Snowmass process that took place this week in Seattle and a detailed article on the ATLAS detector.

We wish you a very nice week!

Kind regards,

The Press Team
