Post-Summer WIT Drinks at the Croquet Club

Please join us for an after work drink at the CERN Croquet Club to mark the end of summer! The Croquet Club have kindly agreed to host us and lend us their mallets for a friendly game of croquet while we catch up with each other.

Thriving Talent, a training provider that has been designing and giving a number of training courses at CERN for the past years, is offering a free online workshop on the Imposter Syndrome.

Volunteers needed
Django Girls is back in Geneva! "Django Girls" is a free two days programming workshop that allows participants to discover web technologies by becoming familiar with HTML, Python and Django in a friendly and approachable setting. "Django Girls" workshops have already been attended by 22433 women in 562 cities across the world.
Geneva SDG Solution Space (https://sdgsolutionspace.org/) is offering to host the in-person event at their premises on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October 2022.
We are looking for volunteer coaches, preferably with familiarity with Web technologies (but it is also a great occasion to learn new skills, as training is provided), to help our participants work their way through the material.

WIT organise un atelier de programmation pour jeunes filles âgées de 11 à 14 ans. Pour participer il faut une bonne maitrise de français et être une femme (normalement ce-ci n’est pas une condition pour les événements WIT mais cette fois c’est une condition de l’évènement en general, nous sommes désolée!).
