The UK Mission in Geneva would like to prepare some content for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science(11 February) featuring members of the #UKatCERN community. If you’re happy to take part, please send a portrait (vertical) photo of you in your working environment (e.g. lab, workshop, underground, giving a tour) and answer the following questions as briefly as you can:

    1. What do you love about your job?
    2. What or who inspired you to pursue a STEM career?
    3. One piece of advice for a young girl considering a career in STEM.

Due to tight timelines, please send your contribution to Giulia [email protected] by today.

·                     A ‘feminised workplace’ doesn’t mean what you think it means. ·                     Nearly all women in STEM secretly feel like impostors. A striking 97.5% of women pursuing graduate degrees in STEM report moderate or higher levels of impostorism. Explore more

·                     Ethics at CERN aims to present the CERN ethics framework regarding individual conduct in the workplace and address the different aspects of ethics framework (see full details). Here's the link to the relevant recorded wit roundtable along with the latest CERN Ombus report. The ETHICS @ CERN e-learning module will soon become mandatory for all personnel. Access it now in the Learning Hub: link .

Wishing you all a very nice weekend,
