1) When did you work at CERN (including its Scientific Collaborations) and what did you work on?
"October 2012 - June 2014. I worked in the IT-DB team as a software developer. The service was called AuditMon, a web service used by the DBA team to monitor audit data from Oracle DB farm."

2) What is your best memory of working at CERN?
"CERN represents my unique experience abroad, so it means a lot to me. I remember this experience as deeply formative, to test my language knowledge and improve the fluency."

3) What is your current job and where is it located?
"I work as senior software engineer on entertainment field fully remote."

4) What skills did you develop during your CERN work experience which have been particularly useful in your subsequent career trajectory?
"Mainly language skills, then improved my IT and developing knowledge."

5) Which skills (if any) did you need to develop further when you left CERN to face your next professional challenges?
"Technical knowledge in particular code and software development skills."

6) What tips would you give to someone who is considering a career transition from academia to industry?
"To focus on new technologies (e.g. cloud service) and extend the expertise that are required by the industry."

7) What advice would you give your younger self?
"To be less insecure and when possible, get in touch with other guys that share the same passions and interest."

8) Do you still keep a close eye on what’s going on at CERN?
"Yes, I'm totally satisfied with my current job and life and probably this is partly due to my CERN experience, which was a turning point in my career and life. CERN alumni let me keep my passion alive and wonder about new opportunities."

9) In your opinion, what is the unique value of the CERN Alumni Network?
"Keep in touch with a community and be up-to-date with CERN news."

10) Imagine you are stranded on a desert island. You can have one piece of music, one book and one luxury item. Which music, book and luxury item would you choose and why?
