Contribute to the CERN Alumni Survey

Five years ago, we launched our first CERN Alumni Survey. Thanks to your valuable feedback, we were able to implement meaningful changes that helped strengthen our community and enhance the experience for members around the world.

This week, we're launching a follow-up survey — and we need your input once again.

Keep an eye on your inbox for your personalised invitation to complete the 2025 CERN Alumni Survey. Your responses will help us assess our progress, identify new opportunities, and continue building a vibrant, valuable network for all members.

If you’ve left CERN, you’ll also be invited to answer an additional section contributing to a CERN-wide socio-economic impact study. This study seeks to identify and quantify the broader impact CERN has on society — and your insights are key to that effort.

As a token of our appreciation, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a special CERN gift.

We’re also inviting a small number of participants to take part in an in-depth qualitative video interview. If selected, and if you agree to participate, a donation of CHF 100 will be made to the CERN & Society Foundation on your behalf. In doing so, you will contribute not only to the development of the CERN Alumni Network and CERN’s impact study, but also support meaningful outreach and education initiatives.
