Published on June 15, 2022

Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 6 to 12 June, 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 527 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

Le Monde published an article on the FCC, after the FCC Week in Paris, quoting Fabiola (see full article attached).

Following the meeting of the EU science ministers, Research Europe released a paper about Poland asking CERN to break ties with Russia, quoting a statement from Charlotte.

Last May, the press office welcomed Roland Pease from the BBC podcast Science in Action. His episode on the LHC was released last week (starts at 8'36). Agencia Sinc published a piece on the discovery of the Higgs boson with an interview of James Gillies and France Info broadcast a reportage on the LHC after the visit of the journalist on CERN site few weeks ago.

Other mentions include a paper on the W boson mass measurement; an article about science and peace, mentioning CERN; the discovery of the axial Higgs Boson by a team of Boston college; an interview of Andy Yen, CERN alumni and founder of Proton mail; a class on antimatter given to high school students by CERN physicist; and an interview of Slovakians working at CERN following the visit of their president at CERN.

We wish you a very nice week!

Kind regards,

The Press Team
