Dear all,

Please find below the media monitoring report from 29 August to 4 September 2022. These press cuttings have been selected amongst 569 articles identified by our media monitoring system.

During the Ambrosetti Forum, Fabiola Gianotti was interviewed by Class CNBC. You can watch the interview here.

The media update about LHCb discovering three new exotic particles is still being published by new outlets.

Jesus Puerta talked about Medipix to a Spanish radio.

CERN was mentioned in various Mexican outlet last week, as Luciano Musa visited UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). Some articles focused on how UNAM would soon host the first remote control center for ALICE, while other articles focused on how Mexico and CERN are partnering to better hadron therapies against cancer.

Other mentions include the LHC giving satisfaction despite the current stop, the inauguration of an exposition about CERN in Como, the restauration of two old CERN supercomputers for a Swiss museum, general articles about the Higgs, CERN using quantum algorithms to analyse its data, and the FCC.

We wish you a very nice week!

Kind regards,

The Press Team
